PrismEmail is an exciting solution to the spam problem. With its state-of-the-art passive spam filtering technology it is able to catch upwards of 99.5% of all spam.

While the PrismEmail service that our company offers targets primarily individuals and small- to medium-sized organizations, the technology itself is ideal for larger organizations and ISPs as well. In such cases we recognize that it may be more appropriate for PrismEmail to operate on the client's servers so that an end-to-end self-contained and transparent solution may be offered to the client's customers.

As such, PrismEmail is available on a licensing basis. While we won't reject potential licensees based on size, we anticipate that the majority of those organizations that will be interested in licensing PrismEmail will be larger companies and ISPs wishing to offer an anti-spam option to their users.

The exact terms of a PrismEmail license will be negotiated to fit the needs of the licensee. In general, however, a licensing agreement will consist of:

1. Term. The term of the licensing agreement may be for a specific amount of time or perpetual.
2. Installation. The licensing agreement will include initial installation of PrismEmail customized to your needs. This may be as-is as a POP3 filter, a customized SMTP server that filters on-receipt, or as a procmail-style mail handler. Simple installations may be accomplished remotely over the Internet while larger or more complicated installations may require an on-site visit.
3. Support. Once installed the licensee will be responsible for support of his own customers. However, we will continue to be available to provide support to the licensee for high-level problems the licensee cannot resolve.
4. Technology Updates. Over the term of the license period the licensee is entitled to new versions of PrismEmail technology at no additional cost. However, if PrismEmail was specially customized for the licensee a consulting fee may be charged to adapt the new technology to the licensees specialized version.

Each customer will have different needs, different hardware, different operating system versions, different web servers, and different support requirements. Just as the needs and terms of the license will vary from customer to customer, so will the price vary based on those terms.
